This is an excellent whiskey that not only shines in flavor but also in its body and mouthfeel. The limestone-rich water is evident, contributing depth and roundness, along with a pleasing subtle graininess. The distillate itself is classic, presenting abundant warm malt, baking spice, toffee, oak, praline, and a hint of pepper. The finish is mildly sweet, with a tea-like tannic quality, leaving the palate dry and inviting another taste. If you have the opportunity, acquire a bottle of this exceptional release before it disappears.

An excellent bottle, with a great origin and impressive proof. Unfortunately, both the nose and the palate are dominated by grain and ethanol. I'm surprised it was aged for 5 years, as it tastes incredibly young and lacks any depth. Sadly, not one of their best offerings.
