About this bottle

The 2014 release of Writers' Tears Cask Strength is a blend of triple distilled single malt and single pot still whiskeys. These were matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and bottled at cask strength by Bernard Walsh of Walsh Whiskey Distillery. Only 2500 bottles were produced, and the whiskey is non chill-filtered. It is not currently available in the U.S.

Leeann Yazzie 5.0

This is the silkiest, most velvety Irish single malt I have ever encountered. With 53% alcohol, it has barely any burn, and that strength helps release a symphony of oils and tastes. It's essential for anyone who enjoys Irish Whiskey, and after trying it, the Copper Pot seems diluted.

Merlin Kowalski 2.0

Nose: fruity, vanilla, honey. Taste: Very brief finish, orange zest, some peppery spice. The more I consume it, the less I desire it.

Letitia Heath 3.5

Citrusy. Unsure of the specific release.

Ezekiel Aleman 4.0

Excellent Irish whiskey. Best consumed neat.

Kendall Dickerson

Pleasant and great.
