About this bottle

The second of three rye releases planned for 2017 under Woodford Reserve's Distillery Series, Toasted Oak Rye is crafted by aging Woodford's Master's Collection Rye for an additional two years in new barrels that previously held Woodford Reserve Double Oaked bourbon. It is sold in 375ml bottles at the distillery.

A pleasant, peppery rye. The vanilla is wonderfully integrated. Lingering finish. I prefer this over Woodford bourbon.
