Distilled from a single harvest of organic rye cultivated in Maine, Chocorua Straight Rye Whiskey is produced using 100% rye and a sour mash technique. It undergoes aging in 53-gallon white oak containers for more than two years before being bottled at 45% ABV. Tamworth Distilling dedicates $1 from each sale to the Chocorua Lake Conservancy.

A newcomer Rye that's easy to drink. Made with 100% rye and aged just 2 years, it provides a spicy taste with faint notes of orange zest. It's decent and I was glad to back a distillery from my area in NH.
Smooth rye. Somewhat dull and lacking in complexity. Not terrible.
Spicy cayenne, fennel, anise, vanilla.
Anise, vanilla. Quite pleasant.
