Nose: begins with vanilla and caramel, some dark fruits present, a hint of strawberry? Oaky notes, a lovely sweetness like marshmallow Palate: sweet pecan and chicory at first with a slight bite. There is a grainy spearmint note at the start as well. Raisin and fig, typical for a wheated, more marshmallow on the back end layered with tannins. Slight cherry and apricot are starting to emerge. I'm sure in a few months of being open, this will be fantastic Compared to the 2021 (125.3 proof) the nose isn't as powerful anymore, but rich stone fruits, viscous body, caramel, butterscotch and oak, really leaves a pleasant sensation on the tongue. I think this one has a slight advantage.
