Polished, skilled, and distinguished. While the overall experience didn't astound me, the evident skill is quite impressive. The aroma, taste, and finish are distinct and clearly defined.

heavy vanilla and toffee notes, hints of wood marry into a soil-like/botanical end. served straight, it carries a significant burn. chilling it down calms the burn and truly highlights the tastes.
I've only tried a few whiskeys, and this is the only one I currently enjoy. I'll have to revisit and update this as I try more!
Enjoyable and smooth for a 112 proof spirit. A slight spiciness and pleasant baking spice notes are present. Not excessively oaky. Excellent for a cold evening dram.
The flavors aren't precisely what I seek in a bourbon, but it's remarkably intricate.
