Nose: A unique, slightly funky but not unpleasant doughy aroma with cinnamon, caramel, and a strong fruity scent like a red starburst. Faint wisps of oak emerge, with more oak and caramel appearing as I sip. Body: light-medium. Palate: Cinnamon, peppery caramel, vanilla, and faint oak. Finish: short. Note: Another selection by a friend, tasted neat. It's acceptable, not great. The nose is unique, while the palate is fairly standard, perhaps a bit more peppery and cinnamon-forward than usual. It's pleasant enough to finish the bottle, but I don't desire another.
