About this bottle

Phil Prichard continues a five-generation distilling legacy, with family roots in the business dating back to the early 1800s. Prichard's Rye is produced at the first new distillery in Tennessee since Prohibition, founded in 1997. Situated a few miles south of where Phil's ancestor distilled whiskey near Kenslo, Tennessee, nearly two centuries prior, the rye is made from 70% Rye, 15% Corn, and 15% Malted Barley. It is aged in small, charred American oak casks for three to five years before being bottled at 86 proof.

Leanna Ellison 4.0

I tasted this at their distillery in Nashville and ended up buying my own bottle. It's a very clean, crisp-tasting rye.

Presley Cavanaugh 3.5

Actually, it's pretty good, very fruity, light, with smooth alcohol, very drinkable.

Diamond Mondragon 2.0

Very much a rye. I would not choose this again.
