About this bottle
The Boss Hog: Spirit of Mortimer, a 100% straight rye whiskey released in 2014, underwent at least 13 years of aging. This bottling honors Mortimer, Whistlepig's heritage breed Kune Kune pig mascot. Master distiller Dave Pickerell selected fifty barrels for this expression. Each bottle displays its specific barrel number and proof, which ranges between 117 and 124. A pewter top, crafted by hand, features Mortimer in flight.
