The aroma is initially floral, with added brown sugar and molasses sweetness. Vanilla and oak unify these elements for a very well-balanced Canadian rye. The palate has a gentle spice, coating the mouth thoroughly with oak that complements the spice. It's incredibly easy to drink, with a wonderful rye spice that is perfectly balanced, not overpowering. The rye presents as mostly neutral, a pleasant blend of earthy and floral. It's simply spicy, in a way that's ideal when you desire a rye in its purest form. The finish is medium-long, with a lingering warmth and spiciness that makes you look forward to the next sip. It's exceptionally delightful and offers outstanding value for an aged rye.
