Aroma: Dill. Earth. Vanilla cream soda. Black pepper, light green apple. Cigar smoke. Brown butter, butter cookies. Toffee and baking spices. With time in the glass, more herbal notes emerge like mint, thyme, and rosemary with a bread-like quality. Almost a hint of sweet lemon and honey. Taste: Anise, earth, vanilla cream, heavy oak burn. Light dill. Allspice cinnamon. Light citrus and earthy cigar smoke. The finish transitions to dark chocolate coffee and mocha with a kind of aged dark red wine tannin. Adding water enhances the oak, herbal, fruity, and spicy aspects without diminishing the other flavors. The finish becomes a strong oak and hot pepper combination, but it never becomes too overwhelming.
