This is a truly special drink. It includes whiskies aged 33 and 25 years, blended and then rested further in Sherry butts. While I don't usually favor blends, this one immediately caught my attention, and I had to acquire a bottle. It's quite pricey for a blend, but considering the age, it feels like a great deal. My expectations were met; this is exceptional, and I'm completely captivated. I anticipate it will become scarce quickly. Nose: Raisins soaked in sherry, red licorice, cinnamon sticks, and a whisper of cherry brandy. Palate: Rich dark chocolate mousse, more raisins, cigar box aroma, treacle tart, and festive spices. Finish: Jam-like sultana, dates, chocolate cake, walnut, and caramel.
