An acceptable dram, though not exceptional. This review is for the 40% ABV version. Nose: Islay peat, a touch of fruity sweetness, and malt. Taste: Peaty, with an ashy, slightly bitter quality and some barley sweetness. The texture is very watery and lacking. The finish is brief, fading into watery nothingness. For $18, this is about what one would expect.

Indeed heavily peated. However, it offers little else, vanishing quickly and being easily forgotten.
With water added, it resembled peat.
Smells smoky, but tastes quite mild.
Reminds me of Johnnie Walker Double Black.
