Very sharp and spicy but in a positive way. It leaves a very refreshing aftertaste of apple and pepper. Add a little water and it becomes very smooth while retaining the flavor.
Slightly peated whisky, 20ppm, which is smoky. Good, but too "classic/common" for a Waterford.
Nose: apple Palate: apple, spice Finish: watery, smooth Excellent.
Light smoke, pear, and fruity notes. Powerful initial impact, smooth finish.
