Joanna Mayfield 1.0

Appearance: On this exploration of my personal "value spirits" quest, we encounter another blended American product. Its color is a burnished bronze with very thin trails running down my glass. Nose: The uncomplicated aroma doesn't suggest much for the rest of the experience. The scents I did pick up are caramel, honey, clover, wood shavings and sawdust (Actually a pleasant combination.) Taste: This spirit's ordinary flavor profile begins with tart pine resin as its first discernible note, followed by bread dough and overly ripe fruit, all bound together by a sharp, sour character. Finish: A brief finish remains, leaving a bitter citrus-like aftertaste. Thoughts: You know, I'm pleased I sampled it, but I believe its name was fitting. Because much like the actual Wall Street, it left an unpleasant taste (Just kidding). Honestly though, in my view, this spirit is suitable for mixing (I had a decent toddy with this spirit recently) but I would not drink it neat again. If you are looking for a very inexpensive mixer, this spirit is for you. But if you desire something that stands well on its own, I would continue searching. Luxco, this one isn't for me, but thank you! Cheers!
