It has a spiciness and some burn. However, once you get past that, you'll notice a caramel, nutty flavor. This bottle isn't for everyone, but if you enjoy Basil Hayden, this is a similar yet distinct whiskey worth trying.
The aromas are very mild whiskey with some floral notes and a bit of spice. The flavors are similar to the nose, mildly sweet, with notes of almonds, toffee, and corn. Extremely smooth with just the right body. Also, the right amount of warmth at the end. Really nice.
