The aroma is potent and reminiscent of gin, with a touch of umami that isn't particularly pleasant. The scent is otherwise unremarkable. The palate presents significant minerality and an intriguing, oily sweetness akin to Fortaleza Blanco, accompanied by a strong, sharp burn. It's somewhat curious, but not exceptionally so, and a bit peculiar. There's a noticeable fruitiness, leaning tropical with notes of banana, apple, and mango. It's reasonably good, but perhaps an acquired taste. A distinct juniper character emerges later. While lacking some expected elements, it possesses sufficient richness, and the fruitiness is pleasant for its lack of floral notes. The finish is substantial. The more I sample it, the more I appreciate it.
