Nose: caramel, oak, and a bready pie crust scent (great). Green apple coated in brown sugar. Plenty of rich, thick caramel. Following two sips, a subtle rye aroma emerged from the glass. Body: medium to full, quite strong Palate: smoky caramel, barrel spices. A touch of sweetness alongside the spice, but this isn't delicate; it packs a definite kick on the palate. Strong flavors for the alcohol content, seems to be performing beyond expectations. Not an intricate drink, but a solid bourbon that asserts its quality with confidence. This is good. Finish: lengthy and smoky. Absolutely delightful. Note: another sample from a friend. I enjoy the 2021 release, so let's see how this compares. This surpasses a certain well-known bourbon in my estimation. This is excellent.

Tastes like a souped-up blend of Eagle Rare and Buffalo Trace. Big caramel notes with a distinct diacetyl addition. Features a complex, candied finish that persists for a considerable time. Excellent product.
Exceptionally smooth.
