I sampled this during a recent trip to Brooklyn. It doesn't even resemble bourbon. It has a weak, unpleasant corn syrup flavor. It seems like it needs at least five more years of aging.
Strong charred oak on the nose, with hints of maple oak. The palate features charred oak and honey, followed by a smoky finish. It's decent, but I wouldn't buy a bottle.
Nose of grass and hay. Mixed feelings. Pairs excellently with blue cheese and is quite good with dark chocolate.
Enjoyable, but not something I would actively seek out. It's smooth but somewhat diluted, lacking full flavor.
I really enjoy this one. A fantastic sipping experience.
Slightly smoky, with a distinct fruitiness.
