Parker's Heritage Promise of Hope

Nose: caramel, toffee with salt, slight smoke, and citrus. Palate: oak, citrus, and milk chocolate with salt. Body: medium. Finish: Incredibly long, smoky, salty, and chocolaty. Comment: My first taste on Lake Michigan with Nate & Mark during the delta surge. We wanted something good while relaxing on the beach at sunset by the campfire. I had hoped to enjoy this more. It's certainly distinctive, which I really value; loads of citrus balanced by significant salt. It was enjoyable to drink, but not my top choice.

Nose: nuts, licorice, hints of fudge and whipped cream, complex despite initial simplicity. Mouthfeel: smooth and buttery. Taste: begins with butterscotch and vanilla, shifts to cinnamon and baking spices as a subtle warmth emerges, concluding with chocolate and raspberry on the palate. Finish: moderately long with a gentle warmth that is quite pleasing. Certainly the finest pour I've ever encountered; we even finished the bottle, which was a treat.

Final pour from the bottle. The scent and taste are hard to place. I'm not sure what it is or how to describe it, but it's likely not completely accurate; it's almost like epoxy or plastic, or... something out of place? It's a bit harsh for 96 proof, with a lengthy finish. Good, apart from that odd profile... has anyone else noticed this?

I've had the privilege of tasting this whiskey on several occasions. It stands as my all-time favorite. Absolutely flawless; nothing more needs to be said.

Vanilla on the nose, creamy texture, a spicy kick, high proof, a smooth burn, and it makes you feel like a tough guy the longer you sip it.
