On the nose, there's juniper and wood, bordering on tree sap, which could be okay, but it also strongly reminds me of turpentine. The taste follows suit, incorporating those notes, especially the turpentine in the finish, and introduces some additional herbal and spicy pepper elements. While other components might harmonize, the turpentine ruins it for me every time I tried this gin.
