Loch Lomond - third attempt. Raisin, peanuts, roasted raisins, creamy, chocolate (3/5). Thick complex flavors, oily, dark chocolate, creamy, with bitterness and light smoke toward the end (2.5/5). Oaky smokiness, but it's relatively mild (2.25/5). Peppery, blackcurrant sweetness, malty (2/5). Dark chocolate is very prominent; for a high ABV, you don't feel the burn but experience smoothness, creamy thick malt, and smothering smokiness (3/5). Sustained long mild smoke, oakiness (3/5). Overall: 2.5/5.
