A deep and rich aroma. A pleasant thickness in the mouthfeel. This was very enjoyable to drink despite the proof. Distinct rye notes are present but not to an overwhelming degree that can sometimes be off-putting. An excellent choice for someone who typically prefers bourbon. This was selected by the SWFL Bourbon Society.
