A very pleasing pour. Initially, it was a bit spirited but not excessively so. It offered a nice range of flavors, slightly floral and fruity. Subsequent pours were much smoother. A few drops of water enhanced it, revealing a subtle oak note on the finish.

This whiskey is fantastic! I'm a big fan of high-rye bourbon and rye whiskey, and this one delivers on both. It's excellent in cocktails; I'm using it for my Old Fashioned, and comparing it to some of my other bourbons is fascinating!
