Real Spirits Texas Hill Country Signature Whiskey

This whiskey is truly incredible — it's genuinely among my top 10 releases this year, and I've had many contenders. It has hints of honey, cinnamon, and caramel. While this flavor profile isn't new, its execution here is remarkable! It's fantastic on its own, but I suspect I tried it in an old fashioned. In my view, it's a bit too sweet in that preparation, but the spirit itself is amazing! I'm going to purchase a case or two before it becomes difficult to find.

A truly excellent Single Malt. It's a very well-rounded whiskey; I wouldn't say any single element stands out, as it possesses equal amounts of all whiskey flavors. It doesn't quite taste Scottish, nor fully American. It's definitely a good go-to standard whiskey. The flavor profile is medium-bold, without spice or excessive sweetness; as I mentioned, it's balanced.

This is one of the few whiskeys from Texas that doesn’t taste like an overly young, overpriced, wood-forward, hot, rough, corn-heavy mess. This whiskey has a slightly sweet taste, but the flavors are pleasing and full. Nicely done.

Touches of cinnamon and vanilla. I concur with another reviewer that it's excessively sweet for an Old Fashioned, but it's superb on its own.

It has a pleasant aroma and palate.
