Makayla Cheatham 3.5

Nose: sharp, delicate, peppery, briny with a whisper of vanilla Body: moderate Palate: richer than the blended oak, sugary (bourbon character), with notes of honey and rose Finish: moderate Comment: I find this more appealing than the blended oak; it has more substance yet remains light. It also evokes sake, perhaps from rice. I suspect it's a corn distillate but likely contains rice, giving it a sake undertone.

A lasting warm sensation with richness, the malt is immediately apparent. The spirit offers a pleasant sweetness, specifically a fruity kind. Its bourbon barrel finish rounds out the flavor profile, adding complexity. A truly welcome surprise.

Delilah Anaya 3.8

This is a curious spirit. It definitely carries common bourbon aromas alongside a citrus scent and flavor. Hints of orange peel emerge in the finish. While not absolutely phenomenal, I would still suggest it to those who appreciate both bourbons and Japanese whiskies.

Nose: Sweet and welcoming with a slight Vanilla. Taste: Honey and vanilla with a whisper of cinnamon. Finish: Medium duration with a more pronounced spice. Overall A wonderful, smooth, and reasonably priced blend.

Jose Becerra 2.8

The aroma is not very pronounced. The caramel flavor is intense but brief. Adding ice improves it, but it's not my preferred choice.
