Rating: 7/23 I really disliked the margarita flavor of Topo-Chico I tried earlier; it tasted like artificial lemon-lime soda. I'm curious how this will compare. This version is much lighter and more refreshing than the margarita one, with less of that unpleasant artificiality. It also has a strange cookie dough note. What's going on? Now I'm detecting a hint of lime peel bitterness mixed with the cookie dough. It somewhat detracts from the sweet, pleasant cookie dough flavor (though I wasn't really looking for refreshing cookie dough to sip on). As I continue to taste, a flat, unpleasant, bitter flavor emerges, and the cookie dough becomes even more dissonant. It's becoming increasingly artificial. Oh dear. I initially preferred this to the margarita version, but the bitter, artificial taste is really bothering me now. There's still a good amount of refreshing water essence, but the industrial bitterness is becoming prominent and unwelcome. Like the margarita, this can't score higher than a 7. The cookie dough flavor is intriguing but not truly good. There's something unsettling about it, and it barely resembles what it's supposed to be. I'm giving it a 7 for being less actively unpleasant than the margarita and having a somewhat interesting cookie dough element.

Unpleasant, like water with an unappealing flavor.
