Essentially, this serves as a hard alcohol alternative to seltzers. While beverages like Whiteclaw are produced from unspecified malt liquors, The Finnish Long Drink proudly states its base is gin. Indeed, the unmistakable aroma of juniper berries cheerfully blends with the fresh grapefruit soda. Pine needles and unlisted herbs add a nice touch. However, it remains a very straightforward drink, primarily grapefruit soda with just the subtlest hints of gin. This isn't a drawback for the product at all. It's an exceptionally casual, easy-to-drink beverage with just enough complexity between the grapefruit and gin to keep it interesting without seeming pretentious or overly rich as a ready-to-drink option. I admit I prefer the stronger version, but if you're looking for something to keep you refreshed while you forget you're drinking, this is it!

Cloudy pale grey, effervescent. Grapefruit, gentle juniper. Sweet, moderately bitter. Slightly viscous/syrupy, a mild sharpness, with a lingering grapefruit soda finish. An easily drinkable classic, very much like a Paloma; it predominantly tastes of grapefruit soda, not gin.
Light and pleasant with a nice taste.
It's just a can, not that long.
Features a pleasant citrus flavor.
Purchased as a 4-pack.
