I appreciate it. It's a bit harsh with prominent oak and spice, giving it a profile that borders on an unpleasantly sharp marker-like note and a nice, dynamic woody heat. I detect leather and caramel apple in the mid-palate, and the finish is quite pleasant. It's not my top choice, but it's decent and distinct.

Tasted blind during a gathering. Maple on the nose, light and easy to consume.
Sufficient spice, no burn. Plenty of flavor balances it out.
Single barrel, toasted; not the usual kind.
