Nose: Fruit from the orchard, summer berries, sweet, floral, gentle. Palate: Sweet, fruity, creamy, with a light touch of spice (allspice & black pepper). Finish: Medium long. Sweet, spicy (white pepper), with a sherried conclusion. Quite dry in the aftertaste. This is a very approachable, light, sweet, and fruity dram. Bottled at 40.4% ABV, it was just right. Very enjoyable, but it disappeared too fast! A lovely dram. This blend of Highland and Speyside whiskies was matured in an American oak sherry butt and bottled by the Dutch importer and independent bottler Whisky Import Nederland. It ranked last out of the six drams, receiving 5% of the final vote for favorite of the night. 73% of those present indicated they enjoyed the whisky.
