Jaden Bowling 3.5

This whisky is widely available and selling rapidly in South America, yet I always suspected this distillery wouldn't offer anything for me. Bottled at 40% abv, expect blandness from this Speysider. This appears to be their most affordable offering. Its aroma is typical Speyside: apple juice, ground almonds, and cinnamon. Nothing more. On the palate, it's easily drinkable, with cinnamon spice, almonds, honey, and cereal. It must be young, as there's an oaky burn and a short, oaky finish. It's not unpleasant, just boring. It might suit a beginner, but it's not to my taste. My overall score is 69 out of 100. It was a complimentary item from duty-free, so I'm glad to have tried it without cost.

Kade Rojo 3.5

NOSE: Entirely fresh fruit. Pineapple, lemon, apple. PALATE: Not much going on. A bit of lemon and sugar. Minimal pepper. OVERALL: One of the mildest fruity sippers available.
