This December 2017 release from The Macallan's Sherry Oak series features whisky aged for 40 years exclusively in casks seasoned with oloroso sherry. It incorporates three cask types: European oak sherry butt, European oak sherry hogshead, and American oak sherry butt. Bottled at 44% ABV, production is limited to 465 bottles, with only 70 designated for the U.S. market.
