Ellis Daley 4.8

Nose: Sherry-influenced sulfur that mimics peat on my nose. Honey and dark stone fruits. A crisp aroma. Palate: Sweet red fruit is prominent at the start. The sherry influence is evident again. The honey-like viscosity carries some herbal notes towards the middle of the palate. Finish: The finish has a wine-like oak embrace. It's a medium-length finish, but the flavor truly stands out.

Marilyn Oconnor 4.8

Rich amber hue, light body. Nose: Prominent sherry cask influence, honey, a sweet fruit assortment, cherries, dark cocoa, and a hint of cinnamon. Palate: Mellow and warming. Honey and fresh fruit, unsweetened cocoa, a faint trace of oak, a mild touch of nutmeg and clove. Finish: Bright, with lingering honey, mild clove spice, and ripe green apples.
