Released in 2017, The Macallan's Exceptional Single Cask Series showcases whiskies from sherry-seasoned casks. These are bottled without artificial coloring, chill filtration, and at their natural cask strength. This particular expression matured in a European oak sherry hogshead, having been distilled on April 26, 1995, and bottled on August 31, 2017. Production was limited to 281 bottles, and it is bottled at 52.7% ABV.
