Purchased an extra bottle to keep for later at 124usd. Macallan-like flavor from a 1990 vintage, bottled in 2012. I intend to savor the next glass for a special moment.

About this bottle
The Gordon & MacPhail Speymalt releases are exclusive single malt whiskies originating from the Macallan Distillery in Speyside. Gordon & MacPhail previously served as the sole bottler for Macallan's malts and maintains access to significant reserves of very old whisky from the distillery. This 1970 Speymalt represents an earlier period in scotch whisky production. It was distilled in 1969 and matured for over four decades in first-fill sherry butts. This malt has existed through significant global and industrial changes before being bottled in 2011 at 43% ABV.

Potent, sweet, and spicy with a lengthy finish right from the start. It's remarkably rich and smooth.
Smells like flowers with a significant amount of spice
