About this bottle

This 1980 vintage bourbon was distilled at the George T. Stagg Distillery, now known as Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, KY. The name was updated in 1992 following the Sazerac Company's purchase of the distillery and its inventory. This bourbon was aged there for 20 years in new, charred oak barrels before being transferred to stainless steel tanks for an additional 20 years. Only 240 bottles were made available for this bottling, which is presented at 90 proof. It is one of three limited edition releases from The Last Drop in their new Autumn Collection, available November 2020.
