About this bottle
This blended Scotch whisky from The Last Drop is distinctive for its vintage dating. Initially blended to be a 12-year-old, the remaining liquid was aged for an additional nine years in 11 ex-oloroso sherry butts, resulting in a 21-year-old bottling. Further maturation in oak barrels for another 24 years followed. The blend comprises forty malt and grain whiskies, all distilled in 1971. Bottled in 2017 at 47.2% ABV, only 1352 bottles are available.
