About this bottle
The Last Drop 1970 Glenrothes represents The Last Drop's 18th bottling and concludes their Glenrothes trilogy, which previously featured 1968 and 1969 vintages. This 1970 Glenrothes is derived from three adjacent single casks of single malt whisky, distilled on December 6, 1970, and bottled in January 2020. Cask #10586 yielded 103 bottles at 45.3% ABV, cask #10588 produced 87 bottles at 44.1% ABV, and cask #10589 contained 96 bottles at 45% ABV. It became available in July 2020. Consistent with all The Last Drop releases, each bottle includes a 50ml miniature replica and a pocket-sized tasting book with space for personal notes.
