Color: Dark Amber. Nose: This whiskey's aroma is abundant with various scents. Immediately, there's a huge burst of cinnamon, molasses, dark stewed tart berries, with hints of crème brûlée; vanilla, milk chocolate, caramel, and even some raspberry. All of this is layered over an underlying aroma of dark roasted malt and honey. Palate: The palate mirrors the nose's intensity, with a multitude of flavors. Upfront, the spices from the nose are most prominent, with lots of cinnamon and a woody prickle. Burnt sugar, honey, and roasted malt can all be found in this lively palate. Finish: This finish is exceptionally long. It is full of spice, dark stewed berries, and honeyed malt. Overall: This whiskey is packed with personality and flavor. It's a heavily Marsala cask finished spirit that delivers a significant amount of cask influence without overpowering the underlying malt flavors. Walsh Whiskey has achieved a great balance in this whiskey, while also delivering a huge amount of flavor. This has definitively earned the title of my favorite Irishman so far!

Reuben Valdes 3.0

Deep flavor, but the sharpness on the tongue overshadows this flavor.

Kathrine Lane 3.0

Considering its 46% ABV, it's quite smooth, offering malty and citrus flavors.

Kyla Sexton 2.5

Too sharp, overshadowing the flavor.
