About this bottle

In tribute to Captain John Gordon Smith Grant, a descendant of the founder and a Royal Air Force pilot who was wounded in World War One, The Glenlivet Single Cask: Squadron 70 was created. This limited edition whisky spent eight years aging in American oak. It was exclusively made available in Canada through select tasting events.

This is a truly unique bottling. Exclusively for Glenlivet Guardians! Smell: amazing with sweet red apples, toffee, floral notes. Deeper notes of fudge. Taste: incredible. Classic Glenlivet orange marmalade, very smooth, chocolate, ginger. Finish: very enduring. Sweet. Amazing - bottled at cask strength. Fewer than 300 bottles ever produced. If you have a good friend who shares this with you - you are in great company.
