This bottling is exclusively for Eastern markets. Nose: Heavy aroma of used sherry from leached casks. A little apple juice and lemonade. Malt husks. Taste: It mirrors the unremarkable nose. For a whisky supposedly aged only in sherry casks, there's surprisingly little sherry on the palate itself. I suppose that's typical for leached casks though. Finish: Brief, dry, bitter. Not unexpected, considering how weak the casks are. Final thoughts: I'm unsure what they were thinking with this, beyond attempting to sell leftover malt from old casks. This whisky makes the Glenfiddich 12 seem quite good. I would certainly recommend the latter over this forgettable TGL malt.

Wow, extremely sweet and fruity. I didn't anticipate the strong floral and pastry, berry, and tree fruit notes, which makes this one of the most "approachable" whiskys I've encountered in a long time. Definitely select this to introduce a beginner to the wonderful world of single malts.

Citrus, lemon, green apple, caramel, watery texture, slight peat, chocolatey - delicious! Cheers

Keenan Keener 3.8

Flavorful, uncomplicated, not very complex. Somewhat acidic, sweet, spicy, and smoky.

Wilbur Mayo 3.0

A bit harsh and with a touch of spice upon contact.

Kobe Hamby 4.0

Smooth, sweet, straightforward, moderate intensity.
