About this bottle
Proof & Wood Ventures offers The Cabinet, a blend of straight rye and bourbon whiskeys. All components were distilled in Indiana, then aged, blended, and bottled in Kentucky. The blend includes straight rye whiskeys from 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017, each with a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. Also incorporated are two straight bourbons from 2016 and 2017; the former has a mash bill of 99% corn and 1% malted barley, while the latter is 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley. This whiskey is bottled at barrel proof. Unlike the 2022 edition, which was exclusive to Washington D.C., the 2023 release has nationwide availability across 600 six-bottle cases starting in November 2023, at a suggested retail price of $124.99.
