Sonny Wolfe 4.8

Nose: Sweet oak and dried fruits like apples and golden raisins. Sweet, creamy vanilla, cinnamon, and a subtle hint of light brown sugar. It evokes crème brûlée and gingerbread. The aroma is very well-balanced and inviting. Palate: Sweet, creamy vanilla complemented by rich, sweet oak with a touch of peppery spice. Contains dried, deep/dark fruits, caramelized sugars, and spices. A long, well-balanced finish leaves you with sweet dried fruits, baking spices, rich oak spice, and perhaps a hint of sweet tobacco. Final Thoughts: This is an exceptional pour. When compared to Batch 4 and Batch 7, it is clearly superior.

Grady Keane 4.3

From a sample vial. Enjoying with a Wee GC. Allowed to rest for 30 minutes. Nose (4.25): Subtle aromas of malt, caramel, and spices, with ginger and citrus notes. Many flavors are present, but require some effort to find. Palate (4): Sweet honey. Bright and fresh. Finish (4.25): Medium length but complex. Malt, white pepper spice, vanilla, leather, cumin, anise. A trace of black licorice. Considering the price point, I desire something more robust, viscous, and oily. The flavors themselves are delightful and complex.

Lenore Hiller 4.8

Sweet. Notes of honey, vanilla, and dried fruit. Similar to Macallan Rare Cask.

Tyrell Barnes 4.5

It possesses sweetness, warmth, and considerable complexity, akin to a rich Balvenie 21.
