Balvenie malt master David Stewart created Marriage 0962 using whisky from four American oak casks that had aged for at least 50 years. The release year is referenced by the month and year Stewart began his employment with William Grant & Sons. The whisky is presented in a tube constructed from 50 layers (48 walnut, 2 brass) and includes a brass certificate and bottle glorifier. The suggested retail price is £27,500 ($34,600 US).
