Maeve Clark 3.8

My fourth Ardmore, following the Traditional Peated, Port Wood finish, and Legacy. None previously surpassed a 3.5 rating. This one is slightly better, but clearly lacks the flavor complexity and balance of the Balvenie 25. It does offer a delightful creamy vanilla creme brulee character. The aftertaste is somewhat sharp.

Vickie Judd 3.3

Acquired the 20 from last year, and this one is comparable. On the nose: a whisper of smoke, apple, hazelnut, citrus, vanilla, pear, caramel. On the palate: tastes like apple pie with baked apples, it's not truly complex and doesn't present as a 30-year-old spirit A bit underwhelming

Stephen Courtney 3.8

Mild peat, especially considering its age
