That Boutique-y Whisky Company, Bunnahabain 35, Batch 4

An intense, 4th release from That Boutique-y Whisky Company's 35-year-old Bunnahabhain single malt. It begins with an aromatic profile featuring polish, golden tobacco, dusty leather scents, sweet and sour citrus, fresh oranges, a touch of minerality, steely coastal air, tart apples, peaches, and ripe melon. The middle develops with notes of oranges, peaches, tangerines, bananas, fresh and preserved fruits, vanilla, sandalwood, dusty oak, polished wood, and steeped tea. It concludes with a long, slightly bitter finish marked by juicy fruits and polished wood. Bottled between December 2017 and August 2022.

Excellent. An old-school whisky with notes of aged leather, caramel toffee, milk chocolate, figs, dates, quince jam, a little saltiness, smooth and easy to drink. A dangerous dram.
