About this bottle
The third offering in the brand's Cask Finish series, this limited edition American straight rye whiskey was matured for a minimum of six years in first-fill American oak flame-charred barrels. It then underwent a nine-month finishing period in Oloroso sherry casks, each 500 liters in size, sourced from the Marco de Jerez region of Spain and previously held dry Oloroso sherry aged eight to twenty years. The whiskey is non chill-filtered and bottled at 46% ABV, with limited availability as of October 2021.

I truly appreciate this Templeton expression. While not extraordinary, it is quite flavorful and smooth. I would purchase another bottle if I come across it.

The nose is rich with sherry notes. Hints of baking spices, berries, and sherry are present in the long finish. A delightful sipping whiskey!
