Outstanding. The time spent in barrels gives a fantastic nutty and subtly peppery layer on top of the sweet grain spirit. It's a warm, full, accessible, and inviting character. Hints of banana, ginger, buttered toast, mellow tobacco, and mild baking spices bring a celebratory feel. The lengthy finish has dessert-like flavors lingering for minutes. A superb Irish, among the best we've ever savored. If you appreciate Irish whiskey, do yourself a favor and get a bottle or two immediately. You'll want to pour it often.

Clifton Galindo 3.5

NOSE Caramel frosting, herbal spice, citrus peels, nuts, light vanilla, dried fruit, and oak. A pleasant dark aroma that starts spicy and herbal, then softens and sweetens as it airs. PALATE Dried fruit, oak, copper, herbal spice, toffee, roasted nuts, a touch grassy, and vanilla. The oak becomes more prominent, adding depth and a slight tannic quality. FINISH Medium -> Herbal spice, toffee, oak, and some dried fruit.

A very smooth and crisp scent. Abundant spice and black pepper are present, along with sweetness from vanilla and caramel. Notes of buttery toast and ginger are also detected. A woody, charred, long finish. Complex yet smooth.

Carlos Dyer 3.5

I just couldn't detect that Irish whiskey. I thought I was drinking a smoky Scotch, likely due to the oak. It's just not a top pick for me. The box and bottle are beautiful.

Inez Vance 4.5

A top pick of mine. Remarkably smooth with pleasing tastes.
