About this bottle

Released in April 2018, Teeling The Revival 12 Year Single Malt (Volume V) is the final bottling in The Revival series, initiated to mark the reopening of Dublin's first distillery in over 125 years. Volume V is a 12-year-old single malt that initially aged in ex-bourbon casks. It was subsequently finished in cognac and brandy barrels before being bottled at 46% ABV. Consistent with all Teeling whiskeys, it is unchillfiltered. Available at the Newmarket, Dublin distillery and specialty retailers in Ireland, followed by international markets like the UK, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Denmark, and Italy. Production was limited to 15,000 bottles.

Jana Jameson 4.3

Strong butter and green apple aroma. Hints of ginger and cinnamon. Fruity taste with heavy apple and apricots. Notes of almonds and nutmeg. Vanilla and light spice undertones too. A warmth and coziness to the drink.

Patsy Rock 4.0

From Dramfest 2020. This is an older bottling, which is quite good. The current production is unfortunately terrible.

Micaela Marquez 4.0

Pleasant fruity taste with a spicy finish. Great for relaxing on the deck in the evening.

Micah Hyman 4.5

It presents a rich, dense character with notes of flowers and dark fruit, finishing with a slight nuttiness.

Matias Sample 3.0

Too much finish, sharp taste, spicy,

Jordon Maxwell 3.3
