About this bottle

The Brabazon series honors the Brabazon family, who were influential in the Liberties area of Dublin from the 17th to 19th centuries, the same area where the Teeling Distillery is now located. This second release in the series emphasizes a port wine cask finish, utilizing various types, sizes, and ages of port casks. This no-age-statement single malt is non-chill-filtered and bottled at 49.5% alcohol by volume. Production is limited to 12,500 bottles, initially available in select Irish retailers before expanding to other markets, including parts of Europe, Russia, Australia, and Asia.

Brianna Gill 3.5

I'm not really a fan of Teeling. There are definitely better Irish whiskeys out there (like Redbreast, Yellow Spot, John Lane, Quiet Man, etc.). This one isn't too bad, though. It's mild, well-balanced with a slight acetone note. Rated 3.5. It doesn't reach incredible heights, but the value for money is decent at $100 USD.

Carlee Kong 4.0

Smell: preserves and dairy cream Taste: herbs and wood

Nichole Swenson 3.5

A pleasant port-style whiskey.
